teslac0ilsI've gone from the problem I had for the past several years of "I want to start drawing again but never know what to draw", to "I have way more things I want to do than have time for in the next month" which is... a good problem to have, I think.
The only problem that is persisting with the daily bug drawing project is that I still feel hesitant to work on anything I can't finish that day. I think that means I need to get more comfortable with doing quick warm-up doodles. I know I was just saying how proud I was of myself for not churning out minimal sketches for most of my daily bug drawings and... I don't know, two conflicting things are true. I'm happy that I've exceeded my expectations, but I also want to make space for larger ideas- and even things that aren't that "large" but still seem daunting to knock out in one go after I get home from a 10 hour shift.
List of creative things I want to do under the cut, mostly for my own sake to clear out some of the space the list is taking up in my brain, but I guess if you folks want to look at it too there's nothing stopping you.
Real bugs:
-large book scorpion gift/request (Finish by May 9)
-other side of book scorpion bookmark
-giant isopod bookmark
-more digital bug drawings for dw icons (mantis side-eye, shy woodlouse, excited jumping spider, preening wasp, sleepy bee, sad weevil, pathetic beetle on its back, screaming cicada)
-moth party
-scorpion comic idea
Fictional bugs:
-real breadbug loaf
-winged pikmin because my wife wants them and insists winged pikmin is bugs
-mountain + my favorite Ōmukade
-Bisexual mothman mailman (pride month)
-Charmy Bee with trans flag (pride month)
Bugless drawings:
-pikmin enemy drawings for reasons (emperor bulblax, empress bulblax, dwarf bulborb)
-update my fursona design
-character designs for furry comic idea
-maybe a bulborb dw mood theme if I'm feeling ambitious
Writing:
-that one WIP
-wholesome mushroom porn
-gross chupacabra porn
-outline furry comic idea story
Crochet:
-hey. Hey. @ me you still have that neck pillow nearly finished.
-AND THE SHAWL. STOP FORGETTING ABOUT THE SHAWL
-and what the fuck are all those granny squares even for at this point
